Walnut Valley Teaching
Laura teaches many dedicated students throughout Walnut Valley. Laura teaches privately at Diamond Bar High School, and South Pointe Middle School. Laura's students, past and present, have successfully auditioned for the ensembles listed below, including the Performing Arts Academy. Laura has taught privately at DBHS since 2010, preparing students for honors ensembles, youth orchestras and wind ensembles, competitions, recitals, college music auditions, college scholarship awards, and rewarding musical lives.

College Music Major Admissions
Successful college music major auditions, to schools such as University of Michigan, University of Arizona, University of Denver, and California State Universities including Cal-State Fullerton, Long Beach, Los Angeles, and Northridge. In 2023, one of Laura's students earned a music scholarship at Pepperdine University, as a music minor.

South Pointe Middle School
Laura is a clarinet coach and private clarinet instructor at South Pointe Middle School, where students thrive on learning challenging music, performing in chamber groups, and performing in honors ensembles throughout California. Every year, her students have earned positions in both All-Southern California Honor Band and Honor Orchestra, and the California All-State Honor Band and Honor Orchestra.
Laura also prepares her students for success in the audition-based Wind Ensemble at SPMS, as well as extracurricular ensembles. For more information on the Wind Ensemble's performances and tours, please click here.
